We continue to have uncertainty both in terms of pricing and availability of supply.
As a result we are now sourcing chocolate from 2 suppliers, our usual organic producer which is our preference pending price, and Callebeut, another very high quality chocolate manufacturer.
We are adjusting the pricing of each type of chocolate with each secured delivery. We are hoping the pricing will actually reduce on our Milk Chocolate from June as a new shipment arrives with pricing we secured earlier in the year, but until this actually materialises we must charge prices that reflect the chocolate we can access now.
We are now paying literally double what we were paying 1.5 years ago and we are lead to belive this will not ease in 2025. See the graph below of historical cocoa pricing to see what we are dealing with. More importnantly, this is if we can even access premium chocolate at all.
